The cut down and melted buckwheat is reseeding itself on my flower island. I think that’s a good thing.

My Brandywine tomato plant, the really huge one, has Blossom End Rot (thank you to a blogger who wrote in and told me). That’s bad.

A critter, a suspected raccoon seen casing the hood a month ago, stole one of my baby watermelons, and left the scraps 30 feet away from my patch in front of my neighbors steps. That was ugly.

Especially when my melon crop is greatly reduced from earlier expectations. Gardening is an adventure, and well worth it! Thanks for reading! – Kaye
